Visit of National Karate Championships Participant

350 participants of GOKASI National Karate Championships for Mayor of Surakarta Cup visit Kampoeng Batik Laweyan. This event was held with the support from the Mayor of Surakarta, Joko Widodo who continuously promoting Kampoeng Batik Laweyan as one of the superior heritage of Surakarta.

Batik Course for 246 students of St. Aloysius Junior High School Bandung

A total of 258 junior high students and teachers of St Aloysius 1 and 2 held a field trip to Kampoeng Batik Laweyan to learn batik in four batik factories of Laweyan. With this field trip, students learn the art of indigenous cultures of Indonesia since early so that they grow closer and love this superb culture of our ancestors.

Student group visit of Esa Unggul University Jakarta

The delegation of students of Faculty of Economics Management Esa Unggul University Jakarta join a short course on Laweyan batik which is part of the Study Tour & Gathering program. They take a packaged tour of batik as part of an effort to introduce batik culture closely to the students so that they more and more love this superb culture of Indonesia. The event was held on Friday February 11, 2011.
